Twenty of our Bible workers from the Ucayali and Amazon Rivers converged on the air base for a week of training and fellowship. We were privileged to have our new mission president, Pastor Gilberto Urcia, and departmental pastor, Pastor Jose Chavez, attend and give seminars on “Small Groups” and “How to Get Decisions.”
We also offered the Bible workers a number of other seminars and other training in Christ-centeredness, leadership and health. Our launch nurse, Henrry Camacho, gave daily, two hour lessons on basic health principles, the 8 natural laws of health, natural remedies and first aid.
Afterwards, the Bible workers left for their zones, refreshed and energized for the task of spreading the Gospel. They were loaded with materials for their villages, especially Spiritual tools to empower themselves and other believers for Christ’s work.
