One day we were on our way to visit a congregation in our missionary district. As we traveled in the canoe, we both felt compelled to stop at a certain spot to visit a family that lives along the river; it was almost as though a voice spoke to us. We greeted the family, sang a few songs together, and began sharing the gospel. As we talked, we discovered that this family was in need of encouragement as they were going through some difficult times. We told them that Jesus is our hope, our strength, and a very present help in time of need. We invited them to accept Him as their personal Savior. They were very excited to hear this message of hope from God’s word and they plan to attend the meetings that we will be holding in Alto Aruya.
As we continued on our journey, we reflected on our experience and the marvelous plans that God has to reach into peoples’ lives and give them hope. We are grateful to be instruments in His hand. Please pray for us, as Bible workers, that the Lord will continue to bless our ministry.
